Ever since the strike started, I got sick with the never ending infection, and this became my life, it feels like I just can't seem to get anything done. I feel bad because it is taking me forever to respond to email. If you sent me an email and are waiting for me to respond, I am sorry. I read all my email and I hear you and I see you and I will respond as life gets more like I am used to it being. I hate it when I send someone an email and they don't respond and then I am left to wonder if they ever got it and should I send it again. I hate that I am possibly making somebody feel that way. I got your email, I read it, I loved it.
We are getting ready to head out to Anaheim this weekend for CHA. I do not know if it is open to the general public but they should have info on their website here. Here is a our signing schedule:
Sunday, February 10, 2007 10:30 AM, F&W Publications booth # 1751
Monday, February 11, 2007 1:30 PM, F&W Publications booth #1751
On Sunday, you will get to meet both of us sisters at our signing. Yes. Karen exists. However, by Monday she will vanish into thin air (unless you are one of her clients, and then she'll be in court screaming I OBJECT!!!) and with me at the signing will be my friend, artist Maria Hammon. Maria is a really nice person who has agreed to be my post-it note girl and the passer outer of free Rise Up and Create! shirts.
Here's the update: Because Mercury is in retrograde, the shirts I ordered have not yet arrived. Hopefully they will arrive by the time we leave on Saturday or there will be no shirts. There will still be buttons, postcards, chocolate and Maria. I also predict that it will be either freezing or unbearably hot in the convention center. Also, we will be signing in our spot for about an hour or so. The free books last about 20 minutes and then the rush dies down. If you want a book and you want to chat with us, it is ok to get in line for the book then come back near the end of the hour to chat. We love to meet everyone so don't feel like you can't come back because then it might be weird. It's not weird.
Four days away from home~ we can't wait to know what adventures are about to happen! I'm bringing my camera, my Flip, two lawyers, and vicodin (just in case).
