The month of me is over and I am so glad I did it! Little things that were unfinished and bugging me are now finished. I conquered my fear of baking with yeast, I fell in love with my camera again, and meals and snacks are not leaving crumbs on my keyboard anymore. Little tasks that were cluttering my mind (like all the photos that needed to be backed up) have freed me up to focus on my goals for the new year.
- Get rid of all the crap/clutter in our house
1/1 update: This is taking longer than I expected. I am halfway done and have made a rule for myself that I will not buy anything new for spaces not yet decluttered until I am done decluttering. - Watch all the shows on our DVR
1/1 update: I am 3/4 of the way through the shows. Our big tv has been held hostage by Dustin and some new xbox game. Watching will resume when winter hiatus is over. And, we binged Godless and Mrs. Maisel which we both loved. - Make Challah
1/1 update: DONE! I made challah! I finally got over my fear of yeast and made bread. I need more practice but the main thing being I conquered my fear and did it. I see much more bread baking in my future. - Back up all my travel photos to one hard drive
1/1 update: DONE! - Use my real camera on photo days instead of my iphone
1/1 update: So glad I did this. I forgot how much I love photography since I started using my iphone instead of my camera. The camera is now in use again. - Weed the zen garden
1/1 update: Done! Though, new weeds have come in...must go pull those. - Read a book
1/1 update: This was a fail. - Eat meals and snacks at the table
1/1 update: I am still eating most meals at the table and will continue to. We still eat dinner on the couch while watching our shows (when Dustin is home). - Recover the bar chairs
1/1 update: DONE - Paint the blank canvas on the wall
1/1 update: DONE but I kind of cheated. I was so busy with client work that I did not have time to paint my own bigass canvas. So I got one of my sold paintings that I love on a giant canvas and it is on the wall where the blank one was. I LOVE it. I now have a color theme for the area and can decorate when Mission Declutter is complete.
