I have been trying to find some good jeans for our trip. We know after all the adventures that we've been on that a few things are crucial to a good trip~ a non-annoying suitcase, shoes that won't give you blisters, and jeans that don't slide down after an hour of walking around are high on the list. I have jeans that I live in on normal days, but they require a belt. I am not at all a clothes snob and will try anything to see if it fits (it's hard when you are short and curvy). Normally, a belt is not a huge issue but it is when you are plane hopping and have to stop to take your belt and shoes off. You do not ever want to be the person holding up any line while trying to get your pants up.
This morning I took the Lee jeans for a 2 mile walk up hills, down hills, and in the cold. They passed the 2 mile test. I did not have to pull them up once! I then went to Target and the post office and had no issues of needing to pull my jeans up, even when getting out of the car. The Lee jeans are the keeper. The downside of these jeans is they do not have belt loops so if they do start to slide after a few wearings, that could be bad. I think these will be good for a 20 hour plane flight. Comfort is key!
Now, I still need shoes that won't slide all over ice.
