1. Flavia: I had Flavia everything- checks, cards, calendars. Before Pinterest, all the best advice could be found on a Flavia card. Little stars in watercolor will always be Flavia to me. I took watercolor classes because I loved her work so much.
2. Jane Wooster Scott: I love her charming town paintings.
3. Fred Babb: I first fell in love with his earrings and pins that were pointy faces, which is odd, since I do not really like faces. I did love the color and self-expression! I am so glad I was able to visit his art gallery in Cambria and see all his works in living color.
4:Lesley Holmes: I love her watercolors and was so thrilled to get a signed copy of one of her books on a trip to England. A Cotswold Sketchbook is still one of my favorites.
5. Laurel Burch: Her colorful cat paintings were inspiring long before I got over my fear of cats.
6. Ton Sur Ton: Not an artist but a clothing company with killer ads! They were photography mixed with paint and handwriting. I had Ton Sur Ton everything. Their ads made me fall in love with mixed media.

It is so fun to think about the artists I totally stalked back in the good old days when art stalking was not as easy. We couldn't just look at a website at 2AM. Remember when we had to go to art galleries and exhibits to see art? My how things have evolved.
