We have already had Thanksgiving. For once we were a week early instead of 3 months late with our celebrations. Our family all got together early before it was chaos at the grocery store and bad traffic, and we had a great, stress-free day together. It's funny to me how certain things in life evolve but many people still stick hard and fast to the holiday rules of decades ago. Even centuries ago! There was no turkey at our Thanksgiving but there were smoked ribs and kugel. As nana always said, everything is kosher on a holiday. Or maybe she did not say that but she for sure would have!
Now that all the siblings have gotten together, our little individual families can have a long weekend to eat more, sleep more, get caught up on The Voice, and enjoy the kids who are home from college. Or, go to San Francisco. Or the beach. Or the mall.
If you are wanting to stay home in your pajamas yet still get some shopping done, there are some original pieces available in my originals shop (use code COOKIES to save $5 on your purchase). Items purchased before Monday will all ship on Monday.
My print shop is full of goodies! Prints, cards, even phone cases. There is something for everyone. Save $2 on your purchase with code GZCCNE.
This Thanksgiving and always, we are thankful for all the friends we have made and the support and laughter you guys share with us. We hope you all have a happy holiday weekend. If you taste anything delicious, report back!
