I think the last time I showed the progress on my vision pages in my tape journal, this page was just a bunch of stuff not taped down yet. I finally got to taping page 2 down and was surprised to see that some of the things on my vision pages have already happened. Or are happening. It's amazing how sticking a word or picture to a page can have such an influence on your life. Even more amazing is it need not be some huge art production. Writing things down (or sticking them down) has the same power as writing a grocery list. I remember it better when my hands are involved.
Some of the things that have become reality since I taped my intentions to the page: Healthier living! My daily walks have helped my blood pressure stay low, my arthritic pains are more manageable, and I enjoy the peace of mind it gives me.
Choosing "hassle-free" options has made life less of a pain in the tuchus. There are snippets of text on the page are obvious to anyone, but even the more vague things that have meaning only to me have been very helpful. For example, the words "flip" and "my brother" remind me of some excellent advice someone gave my brother that I decided to use (and it worked like magic!). It means nothing to someone who will find my journal in 50 years but it means something to me right now.
I started this tape journal 6 months ago when my husband was in the hospital. SIX months already! Only one more page to go.
