Now that my seven days of good things is over, I am going to add some balance. I never trust people who never have anything bugging them, or scaring them, or pestering them. Bad and good go hand in hand and I think when you see some of the bad things other people are dealing with, you feel less crappy about your own situation. You are not the only person not swimming in the pool of constant gloriousness. And, just like focusing on the good, sometimes focusing on the bad for just a minute can help with solutions or just give you a new persepective.
So, here goes 7 Days of Bad Things (let's all eat worms):
1. I have a stack of birthday cards and postcards gathering dust on my desk. I am way late in mailing them. WAY LATE! I am a lame friend.
2. Now that my husband is cleared to work he doesn't actually have a job. A new hurdle to navigate.
3. My doctor keeps changing my thyroid dosage and I am having hot flashes to the extreme. I am sweating right now as I write this.
Note 1: That worm song is gross.
Note 2: It is really hard for me not to follow the bad thing with a good thing about the bad thing. In my head, I am saying the good or the funny thing to make the bad ok.
What is bugging you? Play along if you want to!
