I am combining days 6 and 7 of my bad things list because I got the message of this life lesson early on. This list has the bad thing followed by the immediate good thing I would normally tell myself. I do not let myself focus on the bad thing very long. I am always wanting a solution even if the solution is just my way of thinking. Creative problem solving is my thing. In real life, I dwell on the good things much longer than the bad things, even though you need both for balance. Most days I knew bad things were going on but my mind wanted to go to the good part of the bad. I had to really think to find the bad things that were probably obvious earlier in the day when they were happening. I do think there is some power in focusing on the bad, just like there is power in harnessing negativity, as long as you do not let your mind stay too long at the Island of Anger.
1. Astrofreakingnomical medical and dental bills. Good thing we live in a place where we have access to doctors, dentists, and the newest treatments for things!
