We are thrilled to be sharing journal pages from some of our favorite artists who were inspired by YOU RULE. The first rule is of course that there are no rules in art!
Tonya Doughty's bio says she is a photographer posing as a graphic artist or a graphic artist posing as a photographer, depending on which side of the bed she got out of that morning. To me she is both of those things, the giver of the best recipes ever, a mom of beautiful girls, and just an all around badass. Everything she does is just cool. If I did not like her so much, I would hate her. I mean that in the nice way not the real hate-hate way. Also, I think she might be one of my friends whose names I have been pronouncing wrong in my head for years, which makes her even better.
Tonya describes her rules page as a mix of mediums, digital, then paper and pen, then collage then digital again. Sounds pretty badass to me. Click the image to see it larger. There are many rules here that I need to be reminded of often, so I hope she makes this a poster for her shop. I LOVE Under promise. Over deliver.
Thanks for sharing your rules with us, Tonya!
