It's been really cold and windy here the last few days. The wind has uprooted my herbs, fruit is flying off our trees like people throw fruit at bad comedians, and everything on our patio has been blown around. Even worse, our internet and cable keep flickering in and out. Oh the horror! Suki has been hiding in her tunnel, she is so scared by the winds. The other morning when we got up, I opened the curtains off the kitchen-like I always do- and saw some seriously freaky shit happening. I normally do see freaky shit but freaky shit like odd animals that shouldn't be in our yard. This was spiritual freaky shit. There were no leaves in the center of the Zen Garden circle. All the leaves were blowing to the sides. Everywhere else in our yard the leaves were just falling and blowing in a million directions. The center of the Zen Garden remained free of leaves and debris. I was still free of my bra and was in a bathrobe 3 sizes too big, so I did not dare set foot outside. I took this photo from the safety of our dining area and texted it to my sister in case I suddenly vanished. Ok, I also texted her a photo of the bagel I was eating. I am still me, even when spiritual freaky shit happens.
