Fall has for sure arrived at our house! Yellow leaves are all over the ground and I'm wearing a scarf inside. Brrr! The yellow of the leaves is now a color that will always remind me of Prague. Karen and I were just sitting here discussing what cookies we are going to be making on wednesday. And by sitting here I mean not really here but I am here and she is at her house 30 miles away. I am pretty sure we are both wearing the same outfit, though. Traffic will prevent us from being in the same house while the cookies are being made, but we will make the same cookies. 400 miles will prevent us from being together when the cookies are eaten but I am sure they will still be as fattening.
We will all be in different places for Thanksgiving and I am thankful for modern technology so we can all facetime each other. I am pretty sure my husband and I will not be the only people sitting in Union Square holding our phones out in front of us. I need cookies good for a road trip so I am making pumpkin chocolate chip, peanut butter, and shortbread. What are you making or ordering from the bakery?
