Last week we were about to update our iPhones when we first had to update iTunes and I will make a long story short so I don't have to relive a nightmare, but there was a laptop death in our family. Luckily, I've learned from previous life lessons to always back up my data so no important files were lost. I have entered the new decade and finally got a laptop with a webcam (I can video chat with my seester) and Windows 7 which means I have learning to do. It's great to click things and have them open! That wasn't happening for the last couple weeks. While I haven't lost files, I have, however, lost my memory. I can't remember any of my passwords to anything and that might be even more disturbing. It takes me three tries to get into any password protected site I normally go to. I have also lost my bookmarks. Where did I go before and how did I get there? I have no idea. It's kind of liberating to have a blank slate. It's also kind of annoying because I'd bookmarked about 1743 cookie recipes I wanted to try. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise.
