*When I was a little girl, I loved Colorforms and paper dolls. It was so fun to change clothes and try new things on a body that never changed unless you chopped the hair off with dull scissors or an arm got crumpled. Even dolls got annoyed with bad hair. I love all these new websites that let you make outfits with online items. I have been playing with new items in my cafepress shop to see what looks cute with the new I AM ART tees, bags and notebooks and journals! All the journals are customizeable and you can choose what type of paper you want ($13). There are even re-usable grocery bags in my shop now! WOOHOO! I am happy to offer lower prices on everything in the shop this season.
*I haven't bought any Halloween candy yet because I was afraid I would eat it all before Monday. Then again, maybe I will get a bag of peanut butter cups and pretend I am not home, that is always fun! What's everyone giving out to trick-or-treaters and what is everyone hiding from the rest of their family?
*Thanks so much to all who are helping spread the word and who have sent donations. If you can help, please-please-please do. We are trying to get this family in the house by Christmas. Lexi's "make a wish" Disneyland trip will be over the holidays and we'd like to get the house liveable before it starts snowing. Here's the story if you missed it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
