It's never been lost on me that my husband, Dustin, got all the qualities I love in him from his mother. His sense of humor, his compassion, his sarcasm, his love of food, his curiosity, his absolute devotion to family, his ability to persevere, and even his stubborn streak. There's no doubt in my mind that I owe it to his mother for the way he never leaves a toilet seat up. I lucked out in the Mother-in-Law department. All of this makes planning her funeral this week even more difficult while ads for Mother's Day celebrations bombard us.
My Mother-In-Law, Evalyn, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday.
