My husband and I had a fantastic few days passing open windows under the bluest San Francisco sky we have seen in a long time. It was also the coldest San Francisco we've visited in a long time. As we were driving up, we noticed the thermometer in the car said 32 and I was wishing I had packed a pair of normal gloves to wear under my fingerless gloves. I was very happy to walk miles in my favorite city (on such a gorgeous day). And, I could not stop laughing when I would accidentally call people without knowing it when my iPhone was in my coat pocket, with my hands in gloves made without tips so you can still use your phone. Frozen fingertips and iPhones in the same pocket are a bad idea. Naturally, I'd spent days searching for fingerless gloves before we left! What was I thinking? If it's cold enough to need fingerless gloves, just get normal gloves. You won't want to use your iPhone in the freezing temps, anyway. Just trust me on this. If you aren't sure, ask Karen. She heard my teeth chattering from my pocket.
*I haven't had a chance to go through the hundreds of photos I took with my real camera yet. Some of my iPhone photos are on Flickr.
