I've been noticing that my friends who are doing the low-carb, Atkins, or ELIMINATE ANYTHING GOOD diets, are all really offended by the Weight Watchers Points plan. What's the deal with that? Every single one of them has told me, while eating a pound of bacon, that the points plan is either too much food or I shouldn't eat the frozen meals because they have too much sodium. Oh the irony! It's not too much food if you stay within your points. I think the reason I need the points plan is because I was eating too much food. Hey, bacon is salty!
It's funny how people are so protective of their diets. It's fine with me. They can have their meat and almonds. I just want to be sure there are peanut butter cup sundaes full of sodium always in stock at my grocery store. I figured I can eat 5 a day and still have points left over for a sandwich and popcorn. This is totally the diet for me.
I'm down 4 pounds. 11 more to go.
