I remember when we first got Suki how everyone teased me about how cute it was that I thought I was the boss of her. Those were good times and up until about 20 minutes ago I thought it was still the case! I would've almost maybe sworn on my Neil Diamond CD collection that she did not ever sleep on the kitchen counter. She was not allowed there and I'd never seen her there. It turns out that when she thinks I'm sleeping she hops on the kitchen counter dangerously close to lethal paint brushes and boxes of crackers and acts like she owns the place. When I came around the corner she didn't even flinch! She was downright defiant about it. I totally flinched. I guess I'll just have my bowl of chocolate Cheerios somewhere else.
Now I know how my mom felt during our teen years.
