Very soon after I posted our blog about exciting new changes the other day I got news that my husband suffered a severe rotator cuff injury that requires surgery. He'll be out of work for 8 months. That wasn't exactly the type of change I was going for. There are so many obvious things to worry about now. How will we have enough money? How will the insurance company totally screw us over? How will he sleep with his arm all stuck out in a contraption? How will he not go crazy in bed all day? How will he do anything? How will I do anything? How can I get the doctor to prescribe extra drugs because we all know I will need them, too? How will he eat? WHAT WILL HE EAT?
There's gonna be a lot of thinking of meals that can be eaten with one hand in the next 8 months.
