We like cereal for lunch. And breakfast. And dinner. And also right before after tasting a bit of everything else in the kitchen right before bed. We love cereal. It's pricey for a product that looks like it would be a full box full but you open it and really it's only 3/4 of a box full. A bag with cereal and air is expensive.
I've been noticing that at every grocery store I go to ( Ralphs, Vons, or Albertsons) there are price comparisons at the entry showing how the store I just entered is cheaper than every store I am not currently at. I always glance in the cart full of fake products to see if there are things I would ever buy. There are not usually since I don't buy diapers or Duraflame logs. But the other day I was at Walmart and they had a price comparing cart full of stuff I do buy like cookies, chips, and cereal. Since I don't believe a word anyone ever says even when there are empty cookie boxes of proof, I did my own price comparisons this weekend. Now before you go on about how Walmart is evil, I know. I totally know. Most major corporations are evil. It's Karen's job to represent (in a court of law) employees who have employers who break the law. It's my job to make sure my mortgage is paid, the electricity stays on, and my husband, cat, and I are fed while keeping the doctors and other people we owe money to paid while my husband is recovering on disability. If I don't shop at Walmart, those people won't have jobs to go to, Karen won't have clients, and we won't have cereal. It all evens out.
The Walmart near me is not one with a grocery store in it. It does have a small grocery section in it with basic items but it is not a Super Walmart. I am limited to what is in the few food aisles they do have and most other things I get (so happily) from my boyfriend Joe. The first price is the WalMart price, the second is the Ralphs price.

WOW! Walmart might not pay its employees overtime wages but they didn't lie on their price comparison!
