Ever since we finished the zen garden, I have made a point to have my daily cup of coffee in it. When I say cup of coffee, I mean tea and cookies. Karen is the one who likes coffee. I like tea. And hot chocolate. We both like that.
I think it's important to take a few minutes a day for whatever YOU like and just sit and be and enjoy that few minutes, even if the only time you get those few minutes of peace is while you sit in the long line of cars to pick up your kids after school. I keep getting stuck in that long line of cars to pick up kids I don't have because I live right behind a school and if I time it just right, I get an extra 15 minutes to sit in my car sipping my tea while listening to the radio. Not a bad little break.
I created this coffee break art in honor of my favorite few minutes of the day for our book Journal Revolution. The 2 round pieces made it in the book but the third one, The Little Things, did not. Now all three are prints available for purchase in my shop.
