Our Zen garden is finally finished! I absolutely love it and I keep going outside to make sure it is still there. I even ate my dinner there just because I could~ even though it was drizzly and chilly. I barely noticed that my bagel got soggy while sitting in such tranquility!
My husband is out of town and was not here the day Ignacio worked his magic (the sign that he's not here is that I had a bagel for dinner) and I so wish he had been here to see the final transformation. He spent so much time (shirtless!) getting the tiles just right and I can't wait for him to see how great everything looks. I also wish he had been here when I had to go to Home Depot and get 5 more big bags of pebbles on a saturday. Who knew they closed the garden center at 5:30 and there'd be no strong men to help me? Really heavy bags of rocks should come with a free massage and a bottle of Vicodin. Pebbles are heavy. Don't let the cute name fool you.
I put some photos with notes in my flickr.
And while we're on the subject of photos, I have new prints in my etsy shop . I keep forgetting to mention that here. I try to twitter when I put new things in my shop right when I list them and forget that if you read this in google reader or bloglines you can't see my twitter feed. Also, my new facebook address is http://www.facebook.com/lindawoodsart
And while we're on the subject of facebook, I still don't get it. Am I supposed to have a fan page thing, too? I see that most people with books, blogs or etsy shops have them but I don't really get why I need that or how to make one. And, are celebrities getting pissed that now anyone can have a fan page? Please enlighten me.
