Last night when I was driving to the store for necessities (Red Vines),
I saw that they put up a new sign at one of the entrances to the
roundabout of doom. The roundabout of doom that is a CIRCLE where you
can go only ONE WAY and that way is RIGHT. You can not enter the doom
circle by going straight or left. You can only enter by yielding right
after you've stopped texting your sister, you've turned the music off,
while your heart races, and you break out in a sweat. And once you're
in the circle of death, you just yelling Jesus F. Christ when
cars suddenly stop because all the ONE WAY signs combined with signs
like this confuse the hell out of everything and then you almost get
rear-ended or hit someone.
When I look at this sign (in reality it isn't all pixely), it appears that if I want to take the 5 North, I should go left, straight, or right. That's pretty confusing alone. If I want to take the 5 South, I should turn and/or veer right. None of the 5 arrows indicates that you CAN NOT GO STRAIGHT or that you are about to enter a ONE WAY CIRCLE. Or does it? Are straight lines the new circles?
