I don't like Pinkberry. I think it is too sour and doesn't have enough flavor. Of course, I kept trying it in the hopes it would get better or that I'd figure out why everyone likes it so much. I'm not that big on frozen yogurt unless it is made by Columbo. That is good frozen yogurt with no weird aftertaste and it comes in real flavors like chocolate. Pinkberry comes in flavors like sour air and sour green tea. Recently a new oddly shaped shopping center opened in the beige town I live in and all my local friends told me I had to try the new froyo place called Red Mango. I could kind of tell by the name of the place that I wouldn't love it. Red Mango sounds fruity and kind of sour. If it were called The Chocolate Chip, I'd have been there on opening day. Weeks had gone by and everyone was telling me to go there so, like that 25 list thing, I figured I should go try so I could stop hearing about it. I asked everyone where exactly it was and everyone said it was in the weird shaped center with Walgreens and Bristol Farms, look for those two places and I'd not miss it. Walgreens and Bristol Farms. Walgreens and Bristol Farms. That was what they said. The two most important things. Walgreens and Bristol Farms. I got to the center and saw Walgreens and Bristol Farms but I never made it to Red Mango. I was immediately distracted by a beautiful and GIGANTIC tree in the parking lot. The tree was so magnificent it was protected by a circular railing and pavement so you could walk all the way around nature's masterpiece. As I walked around the tree taking photos, I wondered why HUGE TREE YOU WILL LOVE was not on the list with Walgreens and Bristol farms on the map to the frozen yogurt I never got.
I'll definitely have to go back to that tree. It was a delicious treat for the eyes. Not sour at all.
