I just hung the glitter covered ball in a tree next to the fence where the balls keep coming from. This was a blue ball. Now it's a glittery pink ball that glistens in the sun! I lightly sanded the ball then coated it with matte medium. Then I rolled it in fantastic glitter from the new Crafty Chica collection and let it dry. I wrapped it with thin wire and hung it from the tree. I just thought I'd toss the how-to out there in case you get some balls in your yard that you want to decorate. It's a lot of fun! When the world drops balls, make yard art! I hope the raccoons don't steal the glitter ball before the kids see it.
*If you make one of these, seal the ball before putting it outside. I didn't because I was just too damn excited to hang it. But for sure if you are going to put it outside, use a sealant. You don't want all that good glitter and hard work washing away with the first drop of morning dew.
