Ever since my near death due to the avocado thing last week, I have been seeing bananas and avocados in close proximity everywhere lately. Right after I took this photos of the display of doom at Trader Joe's today, I rounded the corner to the meat, cheese, chocolate section where all the shoppers were banging in to each other and were rude. I just don't get why I can take pictures, twitter, flickr, email, look at stuff, push my cart, put things in my cart, push my cart more and not bump into anyone all at the same time but other people can't even seem to manage just being able to sense when someone is right behind them. Or see someone in front of them. It's really weird. Come on people, why have an iPhone if you can't do 50 things at once?
Since last week, I have learned that I am not the only freak with a banana allergy. The good news is that I am not allergic to bananas when they are cooked in banana bread and I make a damn fine banana bread. If you want to try it, the recipe for our banana bread is in the PaperbackSwap cookbook.
We loved reading what you had for lunch! It took me a couple days to read them because the thought of food was making me want to die even more. Now that I am back to eating like a normal person again, it was great fun reading all of your comments and we are looking forward to visiting all your blogs tonight.
