Our older brother,Lee, is prolific. He has a new book out pretty much every three seconds while simultaneously working on writing for tv shows. I can't keep track of all his projects because there are many and it is a family joke that he often blogs that his blog may be slow when he's got a big project in the works then he proceeds to blog more. I get it. It's so hard not to blog when life is exciting and good and there is so much to put in your journal. It's not like this is a chore. It's also hard not to blog when life sucks. I am happy to report that life does not suck right now.
This week is a really busy one and I won't have a lot of extra time. So, instead of not blogging, I think I just won't clean the house. This weekend, my camera and I are leaving the comfort ove this play-ace (I love that song) for a state I thought was in the south but is really in the north. I am so glad I finally looked at a map. Neither the real Karen nor the Other Karen are coming with me so that means freaks next to me on the airplane. Oh my Buddha. I don't imagine this being good. I don't like to travel alone. It is weird to be traveling alone. Well, really, if you have an iPhone, are you ever alone? I'm very excited to have an electronic device that actually has airplane mode. Finally! I always thought that was something the flight attendants were making up. My cd player never had airplane mode, wtf?
I won't be alone once I get where I am going. There's a good chance you'll be familiar with the people I am going to see in the place I am not yet mentioning where I will work on the thing* I can't yet speak of. There's plenty of time to discuss those things before I go. There are greater problems to solve before I even pack for the trip. What the hell am I going to wear? There will be cameras there, people.
If you have seen any good shirts with sleeves lately, now is the time to tell me.
*Hey, did you know we write books?
