Today We're FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~I got to have a nice long, laughter -filled chat with Tena Sprenger yesterday. Now she'll know if her google-alert works! We've coordinated our Coach bags for CHA and will not be clashing.
~Peppermint Joe-Joe's cheesecake from Trader Joe's. Oh my BUDDHA! Get it!
~Origins Soothing Lip Balm. It's not really soothing. Well, not in a cooling minty way. But, it does keep your lips moist and in the last few days that I have been using it, it hasn't made my lips peel off more. It's not greasy and doesn't slide all over your face. It does taste a little like cookie dough, which I like but Karen doesn't. But, she doesn't like cookie dough.
~Lost is back! I liked Eli Stone, too, it's like a male version of Ali McBeal.
~I still have this Alanis song in my head. Thanks so much to everyone who commented and emailed me with suggestions. I did get probiotoics and will get the books recommended. I am on the fence about the neti pot though. Things in my nose scare me.
~All of the new rubber stamps at Iamadiva.com! Suzi sure knows how to pick my faves like the Krispy Kreme, Starbucks and In-N-Out stamps!
Our Bêtes Noires:
~Karen's daughter fell at her gymnastics class and BROKE HER NOSE.
~ It seems none of Barak Obama's advisers have told him the correct way to use the word myself. Oh come ON! Me, a name I call myself. Are political writers on strike, too? Why is he still saying Myself and Michelle?Luke on General Hospital keeps getting it wrong, too. And the guy on the channel 7 news keeps getting it wrong. WTF? How come MEN seem to go blank on this one?
~Our phone rings every 3 minutes and it keeps being weird recordings of monotone voices reminding me to vote. Really? Duh. I'd prefer they call to remind me of my dentist appointment on Friday because that is something I might really forget about.
~The writers/writer's/writers' strike isn't really over. I still have to make dinner or figure out where we're going for dinner. Dinner is still an issue. So is lunch. So is the mortgage.
~Being sick is making me grumpy.
