The winner of a signed copy of Journal Revolution is...Jill S. and her lunch of peppermint kisses and a bad mood!
Thanks so much to all who played along and shared a bit of your lives with us. This was one of our favorite contests and we loved reading all your answers. We could relate to so many of you and your favorite candy, color and least favorite words. Here are our answers:
1. What word are you sick of?
Linda: totally, seriously, um yeah, and whatever. I can't stop saying them, though, and I only started to use them to imitate people using them. I hate it when people say "cricket, cricket" to make a person look dumb. People, crickets don't say "cricket." They chirp. When you imitate a dog you don't say dog, dog. You say ruff, ruff.
Karen: Utilize--the word is "use"
Since we are approaching Holiday Card season, I am sick of people using apostrophes to pluralize their last name: Please address all holiday cards to The Dininos, NOT the Dinino's
2. What is your favorite color?
Linda: cantaloupe (it's so refreshing!)
3. What did you have for lunch?
Linda: Apple Pie pizza from Whole Foods. It is delicious. Get it.
Karen: For lunch, I had something new and exciting: SWISS cheese on triscuits! With a chaser of snack-size KitKats and Butterfingers.
4. What type of Halloween candy did you rush to buy on sale?
Linda: Heath Bars and Kraft Caramels (which is not really Halloween Candy but was on sale)
Karen: KitKats and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
