I've been very busy working on projects that I am not allowed to talk about yet. While I've been working, I have been nervously eating really fresh Reese's peanut butter cups. I am getting good at opening them with one hand while the other hand paints. The phone rang and I set my candy down. I came back to it and it reminded me of a flower opening, but way tastier.
There's some cool stuff I can talk about! Honorary seester and Art Army member Tena Sprenger has started a FREE book club over at Big Picture Scrapbooking. And, it's not just for scrapbookers! She's got an awesome selection of books including novels, art books, inspirational books and books I am not even sure about but they have super hella* cool covers. One of Tena's selections is Journal Revolution. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH! Karen and I will be hanging out at Tena's book club and will be joining the discussion and participating in other fun ways. Look how cute Tena looks with all her books:
Amy at Creative Mom Podcast has another wonderful podcast up and she discusses Journal Revolution! She totally gets us! I love her! You do not need to be a mom to enjoy Amy's podcasts. I am not a mom and I love them! She always has fun music and she's really funny. She's great at paying attention and observing what is around her. In this podcast she has a really funny and zen-like discussion about knots, grocery shopping, and snapping photos of houses where she doesn't live. I am going to listen to her podcast again and take notes on all the love she gives our revolution. Though, I am kind of afraid to listen too many times in case there's a way she can tell it is me listening a lot. I don't want her to think that I am a stalker. I just love hearing and reading about how people are being inspired and are connecting. The other night I was blog hopping and saw one Art Army blogger giving love to another Art Army blogger and I was thinking how cool that is. A little community!
And speaking of community, in a day or two, you'll see how Art Army people are helping their communities with ART.
* I HATE hella.
