Today We're FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~All of your 4 word combo answers! Too funny! There's still time to enter our contest.
~Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie cookies. I can't believe we've never had these before and now I can't stop eating them.
~The Fashionista Diaries. I love this show! The boss at Flirt! Cosmetics is so nice and she looks like the tennis player who died on The L Word. I had to keep rewinding the part where the guy in the PR Department was telling the assistant why it is so important to spell names right and then the assistant still spelled a name wrong.
~Staying up late (in different houses) and laughing hysterically about everything in our lives. There's nothing better than working with your seester. Well, working with your seester while eating those little oatmeal pies is better.
Our Bêtes Noires:
~My name is not Lisa, Laura, Susan, or NANCY. My name is Linda. Hey, that's four words!
~Our books are about art journaling. ART JOURNALING. THE NO FEAR GUIDE TO ART JOURNALING. JOURNAL REVOLUTION. JOURNAL- JOURNAL- JOURNAL. We have never in our lives scrapbooked (not that there's anything wrong with it). There is a difference. Why can't an art journal be an art journal? Why do we keep being put in the scrapbook box?
~Feeling the need to constantly correct things and then wondering why other people aren't checking anything. And by things we mean anything written about us, not art. Mistakes in art are AWESOME! There are no mistakes in ART. Mistakes in stuff written about us are sometimes super funny so it's not like a real complaint complaint, just an annoyance, because writing is art. Some fact checking would be nice, though. I am really starting to think people make errors just to see if we'll write about them. I'd totally do that to someone on a dare so we shouldn't take the bait (even though I just did).
BIG GOOD NEWS: We are thrilled that our ART JOURNALING books have the love and support of the fine folks at Borders. Our first book signing of the Journal Revolution book tour will be at Borders in Westwood (So Cal) on October 23rd at 7 PM. For added fun, the discussion portion of the evening will be moderated by our brother and famous author, Tod Goldberg (visit his blog at your own risk). We'll post more details on this event soon...we're very busy scrapbooking without rules.
