I tried the potato. I tried the carrot. I tried the needle nose pliers. And finally, I tried patience, and the broken bulb came out. WHEW! Thanks for all your suggestions, bloggers! I can once again take a shower, put on my makeup and pee in the light. It's a good thing because the toilet in my husband's bathroom broke today. I am now afraid to even set foot in our last bathroom. Thank you, Mercury In Retrograde.
We seesters are running around like mad getting ready to go to New York on saturday. We are so looking forward to this adventure as this is the last class we will be teaching together so far from home for a while. We've learned that the cabin we'll be staying in on the lovely Omega campus has no air-conditioning. We're already wilting. No a/c, no tv, and no internet access. We solved the internet access thing with PDAnet because we can't live without internet access! NO WAY! We need it to know if the bug crawling on us is a tick or not. We are info junkies! I suspect we also don't want to live without air-conditioning because we have lived with out it already in our lives. We are good and loving enlightened people who know the importance of meditation and self acceptance. We don't need to sweat a lot and gasp for air to prove that to anyone. We just aren't climatized for New York. So, we're gonna scope out our hotel options just in case it is too humid and hot for us. We want to be the best we can be for the students who are paying so much to be with us for a week. We want to make this week so good for our students. And we don't want our candy to melt. We're not going hotel hopping without a fight though. We will stop and buy some fans on the way to Omega and see how it is.
