Today We're FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~The smell of mint in my back yard. Ahhhh...it reminds us of summers spent with our Nana in her Walla Walla garden.
~New pants from Target even though I prefer not capris because capris made for normal height people make us shorties look like we're wearing floods which are back in style, but I don't like them. But these pants are super comfy so I kind of don't care that I look like a dork. This year's version of these pants is better than last year's- less flared.
~A week of freedom. My beloved husband has gone to Georgia to visit his family and I have the remote control- I mean the house- all to myself before our trip to New York next week. I have gotten caught up on my tivod shows, am eating PopTarts for all meals and am sleeping in the middle of our new bed.
~Karen's Spanish class is almost over. Whew.
Our BĂȘtes Noires:
~I am behind on blog hopping, answering email, and returning calls because I had to spend lots of time watching the Next Food Network Star. I want Adrien to win. Oh and this recipe from Giada looks good (maybe I should move it to the groovy list).
~My car still hasn't been fixed since the accident in Arizona when young Trevor backed into me. It's been almost a year. Sheesh.
~Profit at Chipotle has gone way down since my husband left town. We seriously eat there every day. I haven't gone since he's been gone because people might point at me and wonder where my friends are.
~The ridiculous price of postage! I prefer the old days when the cost was based on weight, not size.
~I keep getting "seedless" watermelon that is full of seeds. The brown seeds, not the white ones you can eat.
