This is officially hell week for us seesters. We're tying to tie up some loose ends while doing a trillion other things while having the house painted (me), learning Spanish (Karen), going here and there and doing lots of this and that.
One fun thing is that yesterday there was an interview with me in the Manila Bulletin- a newspaper in the Philippines! HOW COOL! You can read it here. My favorite part of that interview was the "girl-journals" question. Too cute.
If you haven't heard Lain's podcasts, go listen! She has the cutest voice ever and she's really funny. And, if she gets to my goal weight before I do I'll be really jealous while being very happy for her. I suspect she'll beat me to it. I am about to go have a cinnabon for dinner. Karen has not yet heard the podcast where Lain raves about our book, but I will make her stop practicing her Spanish long enough to hear that Lain pronounced her last name correctly. YAY!
Next week we are off to New York and we hope to meet some new friends. We will be doing some promotional stuff for Journal Revolution and will be at BookExpo America. If you will be there, come by and say hi. We will be giving out free copies of Visual Chronicles and new Rise Up and Create! shirts (while supplies last). If you already have the book, bring it with you. We'll be happy to sign it. We'll even have some of the postcards to give out.
