We are back in hell week, just like when we were in college. We're staying up all night writing and creating and eating lots of frozen foods from Trader Joe's. I've also added some antibiotics to my diet which should help kill this nasty gunkiness that just won't leave me alone. We've only got a few more days until the final manuscript and captions and art are all due on Journal Revolution (our second baby). I'd give you a link to the site all about our cool new book but I haven't made it yet. At this very moment I am wishing we were the types of people who could just let things go. And there are some things we just let go, but order and flow are not two of them. It turns out we are total control freaks about the order in which things go. It's not a surprise to me that we are that way, I just forget it until it is time for us to put things in order. Luckily, we both agree on everything. It seems like book creating would be way easier if we left this part up to other people but that would be even harder for us. Our fear is if we did that we'd lose our voice and you wouldn't get us when you read our books. So, we're happy to sweat it out for YOU, our dearest friends. And, we want to make life for our favorite designer and editor as easy as possible so we're going to do our part by being as thorough and detailed as we can. And (again), all this attention to detail takes time so if you have recently emailed me or us and have not gotten a quick reply, do not think we are ignoring you. It's just taking us time to get it all done by the time it is due. If you have emailed about submitting art for Journal Revolution or you did submit art via email, I will get back to you as soon as I can (there is still time to plug in the spots for art by the Art Army!).
Hmmm....I just had a funny moment when I wrote our books. Books. More than one. How can that be? We're still just kids.
