All day today I have been battling the never ending cold that is not killed off by antibiotics, herbs, vitamins, or vanilla yogurt Cheerios, while working on the second best book ever ~our next book. The photo shoot for the projects is next week and in addition to the 365-day cough, I have a case of travel and trying to get the projects ready induced OCD. I keep checking and rechecking that I measured everything properly while triple checking that we did in fact, reserve a rental car. In the last year, the Sisters On Sojourn/Visual Chronicles empire has grown so big that we have finally accepted that we can't do it all ourselves and asked some of our talented sister-friends for help. The asking for help thing is hard for us because we had the type of childhood that prepared us well for the fact that we would always be let down. We learned early on that the only people we could rely on was each other and that was ok. We are excellent at not ever letting each other down.
So, in the midst of creating, packing, coughing, watching and re-watching all my favorite illegal Snow Patrol videos on You Tube (Light up, light up, as if you haaaaaaave a choice...doesn't that singer look like Albert from Little House On The Prairie?) and asking for help, I've had to reread parts of Places That Scare You so I'd know how to not cry when people really do help us. All this emoting has left me very little time to get caught up on email. If you have written and are waiting for a response, please know that we have read every email and in our heads we have answered you. Please don't be irked that we are taking forever to respond to things. We do hear you. We do appreciate your support. We really, really do.
