My courage themed art bra is in the current issue of Altered Couture. There are some great ideas in this special edition magazine. Even if you aren't into arting up you clothes, you'll be inspired.
In the upper left corner of my courage bra, there's a photo of my hand holding my dear friend's hand. We've been friends for over 25 years and when I need a boost of courage, she's always there. Courage comes in all shapes and sizes (just like a bra!) and in ways not often expected. Do you see where I am going with this?
The prize for this month's contest is a copy of our bestselling book, Visual Chronicles, AND a GLUE STICK. WOW! Here's what you do: Post here and tell us about something courageous you've done lately (Did you kill a spider? Dive into the deep end? Did you battle an illness? Did you go on live TV in front of millions of people? Did you try tofu?). Tell us, we want to celebrate YOU. And then, add to that what you had for lunch. We always want to know that. What you had for lunch might also be the courageous thing you did. We'll then add your name to our Tiffany bag and at the end of Monday, October 30th, we'll pick a winner at random. Email your friends and sisters and arty brothers and direct them to our blog so they can play, too.
