Thanks to everyone who came to our never ending discussion about journaling last night at Barnes & Noble! It was really fun to hear everyone's thoughts on journaling and to meet people we've only known online. And, I really appreciated the input of every Barnes & Noble employee who came into the bathroom as I was trying to decide which purple shirt to wear. Ladies, if you aren't sure you look good and you aren't sure your seester is telling you the truth, just ask a woman in a public restroom, they are good and honest there (and really funny)! The lighting in these bathrooms isn't so great but if you are worried that the shirt you're wearing makes it seem like your chest enters the room 12 minutes before the rest of you, they'll let you know if you are right. If you are in the area, there are a few signed copies of Visual Chronicles at the Barnes & Noble in Thousand Oaks.
When we entered the store last night, and by the way Barnes & Noble made great signs for this event that we quickly grabbed before we left (it's ephemera!), we saw our book prominently displayed:
Yes, that is our book next to a giant red swastika. This is so going in the journal.
We leave tomorrow for our trip up north and we look forward to meeting YOU on Saturday:
