We have a winner ....chezgirl! And remember, since this is an enjoy the book and pass it on type thing, you may just find it somewhere in your town to read while you have a donut and a cup of tea!
It has been really fun to read all the good and bad advice you all have been given and what you're eating for lunch. Some of you are eating way better than we are. Today, while we seesters both dined on chocolate chips and faux wheat thins (both from Trader Joe's) we discussed our least favorite bits of wisdom a little more. Of course, we had to do this via IM because we live far apart and both our husbands currently spend their days at home and you know how much husbands love it when their wives spend all their time with their sisters when they could be, you know, being wifely. My least favorite advice is you should do it because you might regret not doing it later. Oh please. To this day, I have not regretted NOT doing something. Karen doesn't like do the nice thing for that person because s/he is really nice on the inside. We'd rather do the nice thing for the person who is nice on the outside and jerky on the inside because if they are smart enough to know how to be fake nice to get us to be nice back, they'll probably know how to show some good fake appreciation. Though we are pretty much nice all the time- just ask the rude people we haven't been rude back to.
