We both had really big plans to get a lot of stuff done today. The book will be out soon and we've got a lot of promotional and marketing things to do, we've got articles to write for magazines (with deadlines), we've got websites to update, thank you cards to send, and things to plan. We've got a lot to plan. Things. Planning. Stuff. But what really happens on days like this is that we spend a lot of time instant messaging each other about all the things we're doing instead of what we should be doing (since our empire does not run itself).

~Ate many Reese's Peanut Butter hearts
~Tried on various shades of lipstick (before and after eating the peanut butter hearts to see which brand of lipstick stays on better)
~Shopped for just the right sweater and just the right jacket (as if I need another black jacket)
~Googled old friends
~Made CDs of our favorite songs from the 80's to listen to in the car next week
~Panicked that it is almost February
~Tried to determine what awful disease Karen might have by comparing a red bump on her arm to really gross pictures on a dermatology website then decided it was just an allergy to Tide detergent
~Looked up words that we use often in the dictionary to be sure we were using them properly - then looked up words other people use to describe us to be sure they were using them properly
~Ate many more Reese's Peanut Butter hearts
