When Life is being normal, the UPS man comes right when I am about to get in the shower, have no bra on, my hair is sticking up in a million directions or I have to pee really bad. So today when I was waiting for the UPS man to deliver the BEST BOOK EVER, I drank a lot of water, never put a bra on, and made my hair look really bad in the hopes that he'd come sooner. When that didn't work, I got dressed and started making art.Surely, the UPS man would come right as I spill paint on my new shirt! That always happens! No, not today. While I continued to wait for the delivery of our dreams coming true, I thought about how over the last year, whenever something really exciting happens with our book, I have been alone. Karen and I have not ever been in the same room when we received good news about the book. Usually, we're not even in the same city. Today was not going to be any different. I decided to be still with that and enjoy the silence as I waited for the brown truck. Besides, if it was silent, I could hear the truck rounding the corner better. As soon as it was still, the truck appeared and Visual Chronicles landed in my hands. OH MY BUDDHA! What a moment. Our baby has arrived.
It is smooth and it's sleek. It is colorful and it's sassy. It is funny and it's inspiring. It's got both of our names spelled properly. And, if you pre-ordered it on Amazon, it'll be coming to you sooner than we expected.
