On our way to Sweetpeas and Snapshots this morning I was thinking of how times have changed. It used to be that the worst driver to be behind was an old man in a hat driving a car decorated with American flags and "support our troops" stickers. Now, it is a mom talking on a cell phone with young kids in the backseat.
I didn't get to spend as much time at Sweetpeas as I'd like because we just made a pit stop on our way to brunch at the Farmer's Market. We ate at Marmalade because according to People and US magazines, it's where cool people eat....and everywhere in the Farmer's Market people were smoking. The French Toast I had was tasty! Après brunch, we made our way to the Beverly Center where trendy people in the 80's used to hang out. Now it is just another empty mall. Doesn't anybody go to the mall anymore? There's a Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and Louis Vuitton at the Bev Center.
