Today We're FEELIN' GROOVY about:
~Seeing a celebrity wearing a baseball cap at the Barnes and Noble in Pasadena (the guy who played Shaggy in Scooby Doo). Whenever D and I go to certain places, I predict we will see a celebrity in the typical celebrity disguise: a baseball cap. I love it when my predictions come true.
~My beautiful, finally CLEAN, WAXED car. I took it to a REAL, non-drive-thru car wash. Usually, I'd be afraid that once it was dry and all, I wouldn't be able to find which was mine, since the guys all wear baggy pants, a grey cap, and wave a red towel, and with my horrid eyesight and all. Then, I'd embarrass myself running to claim the wrong car. But, thankfully, since I have no hubcaps and a shattered windshield, I was able to pick out my car amongst all the others crowding the car wash.
~Making the diet coke cake because it sounded funny and, well, it tastes funny, too
Our Bêtes Noires:
~TWO missing hubcaps...is someone stealing them, or are they falling off due to increased pot holes after all our rains??? It cannot possibly be my parallel parking? No. No.
~ Kinda related to the hubcap thing: rocks keep blasting at my windshield! I now have two little bullet-hole looking things in my windshield, annoyingly placed right where I look! Are people trying to keep me off the roads?!
~The way the chefs at BJ's and Mimi's Cafe keep "forgetting" to put ingredients in the salads I order. When the menu clearly states that the Chinese Chicken salad includes onions and cilantro, and those are 2 of the 5 items that make up the salad, how, How, HOW do you forget those?
