Thing 3: In 1995 I took a ceramics painting class and was obsessed with making everyone personalized tile trivets. Nana kept the one I made her proudly displayed on her kitchen counter (at least when we came to visit). Her tile made its way back to me when she passed away. I love the obvious signs of use and it's now on my kitchen counter. I still love painting ceramics but haven't done it in years. #iamartblog #43andme from Instagram http://ift.tt/1bIt3LM
Thing 2: Though I love Oreos in recipes like Oreo Cheesecake, Oreo ice-cream, and Oreo Truffles, I don't really like Oreos. I can easily eat only one if I eat one at all. This is one food thing that makes me different from my siblings. #iamartblog #45andme from Instagram http://ift.tt/1fqBErk
Thing 1. I have been to museums all over the world and have been inspired by the masters. And the locals. I love going to museums! I save all the printed goodies from the exhibits. Some of those museums include The Uffizi, The Louvre, The Albertina, The Jewish Museum in Prague, of course the Getty here. One of my favorite exhibits was at the San Francisco Museum of Craft & Design. It was an exhibit all about designing wine labels. #iamartblog #45andme from Instagram http://ift.tt/1a2cteI
Earlier today I heard my husband mumbling "stay positive" while calculating moves on Call Of Duty. I'm not sure if he was talking about life or the game, but whatever. It was funny. Two months from today I will be 45. How did THAT happen?! I've decided to make myself a birthday journal between now and then of 45 things about me. I will lose count around number 17, I am sure. I am interested to see if my perspective has changed since doing similar journaly experiments when I was younger. Maybe I can get my seester @dininok to post a few, she also has a milestone birthday in March. Cake and self-reflection for everyone! #iamartblog from Instagram http://ift.tt/1i9qd7C
I love it when people send me links to treadmill desks. I prefer to do computer work while standing and moving around! My office desk is part of a built-in but over the years I've gotten used to pushing the chair out of the way and using this laptop bed tray on top of my desk. It is the perfect height for standing while working. With the chair out of the way, there's plenty of room under the desk for naps. Above my desks are photos of my nieces and nephews throughout the years and I want to keep my Best Aunt status so you are getting the cropped version. #iamartblog from Instagram http://ift.tt/1i8tnIW
In an attempt at being eco-friendly, I was packaging art orders and using newspapers as stuffing in the boxes. I noticed the headlines as I was packing and everything was bad news. I only want to send happy news with my art. I will now be using candy wrappers and misprinted pinterest cookie recipes as package fluffing instead. #iamartblog from Instagram http://ift.tt/1k2xMOe
I've added some new art to my shop at artbylindawoods.com. Art from small to humongous, from $5 to $500. There's something for every budget. I like framing the $5 cards :) #iamartblog from Instagram http://ift.tt/1lhIswg
